bring and take

It is not always easy to choose correctly betwen these two words. basiccally, bring is used for a movement towards the persons who is speaking or writing; take (in one sense) is used for movements in other directions.
e.g: Come over here and bring your book.
I'm bringing my wife back home from hospital this evening.

I once had to take a group of students from Rome to Berlin.
Let's have one more drink, and then I'll take you back home.
